Meet J Marie
Hello, I’m J Marie, Owner/Boss Organizer, AKA “Mother Of Declutter” at J Marie Home Designs - Professional Home Organization and Interior Decorating Services in Metro Atlanta. I am currently a Professional Member of the National Association of Black Professional Organizers (NABPO) & Faithful Organizers (FO).

I am dedicated to creating customized solutions/systems by designing unique + functional spaces for the life you live!

My journey began as a young girl when my mother taught me to always put things back where they belong, and I did! - - “Everything has a home, as she would often say!” From that time until now, I live a very structured life and have become obsessed with being neat, clean and organized in just about everything I do. I have a passion for organizing and decorating, therefore, it never feels like work. The impact that organizing has had on my life has led me to begin helping family members as well as friends get organized and stay organized...Hence, this is when J Marie Home Designs was born.
I use to enjoy visiting at family members homes and then taking over projects like cleaning and organizing the inside of their refrigerator, discarding expired food and recommending new containers to store in. I also remember an old girlfriend of mine whenever she would come over to visit, the first place she would go is to my kitchen and open all my cabinets to see how well organized my dishes were inside and color coordinated by sets on racks... she knew that I wouldn’t have it any other way and she wouldn’t be disappointed!

My purpose in life is to help people organize their life in the form of organizing and decorating their homes. I am very passionate about serving God and the families he has blessed me to serve. When you live an orderly life it is easy to experience feelings of joy and peace instead of stress. Living in an organized home gives you the freedom to enjoy life more.
